The Osmonds will reunite this summer for a TV special celebrating a half-century in the entertainment business. Seven Osmond siblings - Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie and Jimmy - are scheduled to be onstage Aug. 13-14 at The Orleans Hotel Showroom in Las Vegas, publicist Kevin Sasaki said Thursday from Los Angeles.

Tickets for the live shows range from $75 to $125. The shows will be taped for "The Osmonds 50th Anniversary," which will air next March on PBS stations. "At first it was just a tribute to my brothers, but it came together as a celebration of everybody.

It's out of control," Jimmy Osmond, producer of the special, said Thursday. Bono, who has helped bring worldwide attention to medical and economic problems in Africa, will receive this year's Liberty Medal. The Philadelphia-based National Constitution Center gives the award to an individual or organization that has "demonstrated leadership and vision in the pursuit of liberty of conscience or freedom from oppression, ignorance or deprivation.

" Bono and the organization he co-founded - DATA (Debt, AIDS, Trade, Africa) - will receive the medal at a ceremony on Sept.

Though Bono holds no elected office, he proves that "the office of citizen is the most important in the world," Constitution Center President and CEO Joseph Torsella said Thursday. After starring in two megasized Hollywood trilogies that have taken him from unknown to A-list ("Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Lord of the Rings") Orlando Bloom is walking away from movies - temporarily. "It's been an incredible ride," said the 30-year-old, sprawled across a sofa at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

"And it's been wonderful but I'm sort of psyched to do something completely different." Hence, he's returning to the theater - the London stage, to be exact, to appear in David Storey's play, "In Celebration." "I'm looking forward to continuing working on movies and making choices that excite me, and right now that is doing some theater," he said, though he expects to be "rather terrified.
