in downtown Wilmington, on Saturday. Tommy Ramone, formerly with punk rock legends The Ramones, has gone all bluegrass on us with his new duo, Uncle Monk. Also playing bluegrass are local favorites The Barnraisers.

, and tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. It's the biggest surprise of a summer that hasn't even started yet: Spider-Man 3 (HH out of four), which opened in multiplexes around the nation at midnight Thursday, isn't getting great reviews like the ones received by the first two Spider-Man films. In fact, most reviewers are saying that it's the weakest film in the trilogy.

And, while anything less than great is a disappointment when it comes to perhaps the most highly regarded superhero film franchise, there's little doubt that tepid reviews will stop Spider-Man 3 from being the blockbuster it was always destined to be. Of course, when compared to the other two movies opening this week, Spider-Man 3 looks pretty good. Lucky You (H 1/2), starring Eric Bana as a high-stakes gambler, suffers from an extreme case of poker face; the only thing that gives it life is the one scene between Drew Barrymore as the women who loves Bana's job-less poker player.
