ACTOR Sylvester Stallone's was yesterday fined less than $3000, plus $10,000 costs, after being found at Sydney airport this year with 48 vials of the banned drug Jintropin.
Last week Stallone, who did not return to Sydney for the case, pleaded guilty through his lawyers to importing the banned bodybuilding drug and possessing four vials of testosterone.
The size of the fine means Stallone can travel to Australia in future.

NSW Deputy Chief Magistrate Paul Cloran said the Rocky and Rambo star had been untruthful, but had since shown remorse.
Mr Stallone made an error of judgment, and he has apologised. By his plea of guilty to each matter he has done all he can to remedy the situation.

He has shown contrition. He has shown remorse, Mr Cloran said.
International scrutiny of his error and the penalty would send a clear message that such behaviour would not be tolerated, Mr Cloran said.

I don't think there is anything further the court could or should do in order to deter Mr Stallone from committing these offences again, he ruled.
