I just read about the horrible incident which occurred today at an Amish School.  Dear Lord in heaven, what was wrong with that man that he saw fit to terrorize, bind, and murder innocent children?

!  The article mentioned that he wrote of a long-held grudge in his suicide notes but it is beyond me as to why anyone would want to exact their revenge on helpless - and innocent - children - - especially since the perpetrator of this atrocity is a parent himself!!

The Amish community has never bothered anyone; they tend to their own and live quietly and peacefully - although separately - from those around them.

  The choice of an Amish school - or of any school, for that matter, as a forum in which to act out one's hatred and self-misery is an act of cowardly and  desperate self-loathing as well as malice-toward-mankind.

I can not even begin to IMAGINE what the parents of the deceased and wounded children are presently experiencing.  While the Amish have always respected others, they, today, were violated in a most heinous manner.

  If any reader of this blog ever wondered as to why the Amish have long eshcewed contact with the modern world the events of today are surely a reason as to why.

I will pray for the souls of those who were so brutally taken from this world today and for their families.  I will also pray for the family that the perpetrator left behind - as they, too, are innocent victims.

   

Reverend Mr. and Ms. Simpson, its time that you realize your MONEY MAKER - a.

k.a. Jessica, is an adult!

Reverend Mr. Simpson - as a Baptist minister, you, of all people, SHOULD NOT be touting the fact that your little girl is  a double D phenomenon!  YOU, sir, ought to be ashamed of yourself for EXPLOITING your daughter in such a manner!

And you, Mrs. Simpson, may well take offence to Jessica's recent photographic poses, stating that THEY are not the image WE desired but, after all, YOU have profitted from both Jessica's and Ashley's photographs!

It's far too late to protest innocence at this point-in-time.

  After all, photographs of your daughters are generating tens of thousands, even millions of dollars in your bank account!!!

YOU and your former Baptist Minister  husband have profitted from the photographs of your daughters - yet the TWO OF YOU, in spite of Jessica's recent divorce from Nick Latchey, want to maintain your parental dominance in both of their lives! 

Why don't the two of you MOOCHES find a way to finance yourselves into your dream life another way?  Isn't it enough that Jessica publicly failed in her marriage to Nick Latchey?

  Aren't the two of you happy with all the tabloid sales regarding the lives of your daughters?  Do the TWO OF YOU really believe that you, as parents of Jessica and Ashley, hold all the answers for their success? 

You two - and your particular brand of Christian religion, need to re-examine your motives - AND STAY OUT OF THE LIFES OF YOUR CHILDREN!

It seems to me that the fact that Mel Gibson was recently arrested for speeding and DUI has been completely overshadowed by his alleged anti-semitic remarks - comments recorded by police officers - and totally unverifiable, unless, of course. one believes that police officers ALWAYS tell the truth.  I don't believe that to be the case; police officers have a penchant for their own sense of drama - especially if THEIR VERSION of an incident will bolster their career.

 

Look at it this way: if an officer stopped someone for the same offences of speeding and suspicion of DUI as Mel Gibson's,  would they really bother to record, in writing, every so-called anti-semitic remark the suspect uttered?  I don't think so. 

I do not, for one minute, believe that Mel Gibson was treated in the same manner by the arresting officer(s) as anyone NOT in the film industry would be treated.

  I believe the arresting officer(s) imediately realized they had a golden collar the minute they recognized Mel Gibson as the person they'd pulled-over.  After all this ballyhooing about Mel Gibson's alleged anti-semitic remarks it still is unknown as to whether or not the arresting officer(s) have any personal gripe in the matter, e.g.

ethnicity or religious affiliation - which may well be mitigating factors. 

Mel Gibson has been under a great deal of professional heat since the release of The Passion of The Christ - not only for the film's alleged anti-semitic sentiment but as well for the monies he made from the film.  I truly believe that these so-called anti-semitic statements attributed to Mr.

Gibson during his arrest couldn't have been levied at a more propitious  time for such nay-sayers, especially in light of the current middle-eastern frictions.

By the way, the informed  population of planet of Earth is divided as to WHICH NATION is responsible for the present carnage which continues in the middle-east!!

!  Does that mean that anyone who cites Israel as an aggressor is ANTI-SEMITIC? 

BOTTOM LINE: Mel Gibson may well be guilty of recent speeding and of DUI but, other than that, his alleged comments regarding Jewish people are - simply AND  legally - unmitigating factors in his arrest; any such   anti-semitic comments and opinions attributed to Mel Gibson during his arrest have absolutely NOTHING to do with his alleged public offence.
