Island of Lost Souls

I'm cross-posting a diary I wrote for dailykos. It's the last in a series of 3 about how to use legal means to fight Bush's invocation of the unitary executive theory and executive privilege. At one point, as I was writing, "Bush is the Law," it made me think of the 1933 movie Island of Lost Souls (a synopsis is in the diary).

In it Bela Lugosi as the Sayer of the Law shouts at his fellow animal/man creatures, "What is the Law?" He was trying to keep a lid on the expression of their animal urges. Eventually, enraged by their creator's (Dr.

Moreau's) hypocrisy, they rose up and destroyed him. Let's get him!
