Festival of Fear, Indie Horror, Be afraid! Rue Morgue, Canada s distinguished horror magazine, and Hobby Star Entertainment bring back THE RUE MORGUE FESTIVAL OF FEAR - Canadian National Horror Expo for its 4th annual run. The massive genre event will descend upon the Metro Toronto Convention Centre the weekend of August 24-26, 2007 as part of Canada s National Expo (with ComiCon, CNAnime, SFX and GamesX), and is expected to draw more than 40,000 fans over three days.

Rue Morgue is elated to announce a rare public appearance from legendary master of horror film DARIO ARGENTO (Deep Red, Suspiria, Masters of Horror, Mother of Tears), as official Guest of Honour for this year s show. Argento has influenced three generations of filmmakers from Quentin Tarantino to John Carpenter, and is responsible for re-designing the horror film genre for millions of fans worldwide. Joining Argento will be special guest and Argento collaborator GEORGE ROMERO (Night of the Living Dead, Diary of the Dead), British acting iconoclast MALCOLM McDOWELL (A Clockwork Orange, Rob Zombie s Halloween), genre actress ADRIENNE BARBEAU (Creepshow, The Fog, Carnivale), godfather of gore HERSCHELL GORDON LEWIS (Blood Feast, Two Thousand Maniacs!
