People are talking about actor Mel Gibson's drunken meltdown in Malibu the other night, when he resisted arrest, made anti-Jewish remarks and sexually harrassed a female deputy. At Subcrawl, we would like to publically commend the nutty has-been for finally showing the first signs of maturity.
You see, most people raised by a father who follows an irrational religious creed will, at some point, rebel and begin thinking for themselves. But it seems Mel, 50 (per Wikipedia, hmm..
he looks older), has devoted himself to semi-discretely trumpetting (and financing) his wacky dad's reactionary, anti-Papal/Holocaust denyin' theories. Perhaps his outburst was an attempt to make a break from daddy Gibson, humiliate the old man, and gain some long overdue independence. but how 'bout you hire a driver next time?
