Could it be any hotter out there? It was 104 degrees here yesterday and should remain close to that the rest of this week. Yuck.
We had a good weekend. I worked some on Saturday and then Brian s best friend, Andy, came into town for a visit. He was on his way to Kansas for a business trip and decided to stop in for a short stay.
We went and saw Little Man with Marlon and Shawn Wayans. I have to say, I thought it was going to be pretty silly but I was pleasantly surprised it was really funny. You should see it if you have a chance.
We also got a couple new Xbox 360 games: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Conflict Desert Storm. Andy and I played Deser Storm together for a few hours. It s a lot of fun but I m glad he had played it before.
It requires a lot of strategic positioning of troops that would have taken me a few pointless deaths to figure out. We actually got so wrapped up in the game that he was late leaving for Kansas. Damn those Iraqi millitants!
Those who know me, even remotely, know that I am an American Idol fanboy. Like majorly.
It began as a coy affair with Kelly Clarkson.
It grew with Ruben. We commited with Fantasia and began our family with Carrie.
