However, on May 11, the judge in his case was so impressed with the the Braveheart director's progress in rehab that his appearance at the hearing was waived, according to a Tonight report. "I truly believe the rehabilitation (in) this case is effective, and I don't want to do anything to interrupt that," said Malibu Superior Court Judge Lawrence J Mira.
