Blog: Thanks for dropping by, Bruce

Hi Bruce, thanks for dropping by. The word on the grapevine is that you have a new movie coming out. It would be great to hear your thoughts on this subject.

"Sans bullshit, sans gossip, just the straight, tight shit", as a certain Walter B would have it. Now you know who Walter B is, because that was the name you used when you cropped up on that chat forum on Aintitcoolnews - enraging some of your fellow posters, who thought you were a hoax. They didn't realise that you were just a humble Hollywood star trying to reach out and say hello.

"What if I came to you as just a guy who merely wished to have an outlet to chat with people I seldom get a chance to chat with?" you wondered. I'm not sure that any of the Aintitcool posters actually answered your question, Bruce.

Perhaps someone here might be able to. I'm betting that they will point out that it was an altogether wonderful thing for you to do. No doubt they'll say that you are breaking through the fence that traditionally separates the star from his audience, proving that - for all your millions - you are really no different from the rest of us.

You tell us that one of your favourite movies is Raging Bull. Bruce, that's one of my favourite movies too! That said, I fear there might be some more sceptical voices in the audience.

And these voices may query just why you've suddenly decided to chill with the hoi-polloi. Did you visit Ainitcoolnews because you love chatting to predominantly male film fans of a certain age? Or is it all part of some cynical Web 2.

0 marketing campaign? Does Walter B only appear on the site when his alter-ego has a big movie coming out? Or can he be found there regularly - perhaps wading into the latest argument about Hellboy 2, or hyperventilating over some new pictures of Sarah Michelle Gellar?

They obviously don't know you for the stand-up, sans-bullshit guy you really are. They don't know you like we know you. Hi Bruce, thanks for dropping by.
