Incredible - by tdrock on February 20, 2005 Saw the show this afternoon, Feb 19th. Got partial view seats yesterday afternoon at the box office. Even with missing some of the entrances and some of the far upstage action, it was still well worth the time and money.
Curry, Azaria and Hyde Pierce look like they are having the time of their lives. The show brings all the good things from the movie and adds so many more new things that this is definitely a show to see again. Sara Ramirez steals the show as The Lady of the Lake and others.
Her voice is a magnificent instrument that can go from a light lilty aria to a belting gospel number all in the same breath. I think probably the best thing about this show is that you never know what is coming next. I laughed for 2.
5 hours. Do whatever you can to get tickets to this show. Do it now before the Tonys, because the stock will definitely rise after June.
