o, the lights went out in the room, total darkness! White smoke started flooding the stage instantly with huge billowing plumes, then very bright white lights enveloped the stage, illuminating the smoke into a wall of white! Then two figures appeared through the white fog, all you could make out were their sillouettes.
They carried Echelon flags that were planted at each side of the stage! As this happens there are pounding drums and loud chanting in the room! Then the white wall of smoke on the stage quickly vanishes and the members of 30 Seconds To Mars can be seen standing motionless on the stage, staring at the audience!
The crowd is screaming as the drums and chanting stops, and they just stand before us motionless wearing the white porceline masks and bandanas! Quite an entrance, then all at once the band starts playing the title track A Beautiful Lie , and Jared Leto who is holding 2 dozen roses runs to the edge of the stage throwing them into the crowd! It was again an amazing show, the best I've seen from any band as far as performance, excitement, and non stop energy goes!
This is a very loud, tight, talented band that give an unbelievably powerful and excellent show! Jared as always works the crowd like a real pro with his astounding singing, and screaming, running through the audience, and sharing the show and experience with the fans! This was a sold out show and it was clear there were many people seeing this band for the first time live!
At various points there was a lot of pushing and people trying to get closer to the stage...
grow up and enjoy the show...
but despite those morons, this was just the best concert ever!!!
Jared Leto announced during the show that they've already booked the next show for Toronto which they will be performing with The Used . The tour will come back here in March and is called The Taste Of Chaos Tour ! It'll be amazing!
