Santa Monica, CA (AHN) - Billy Bob Thornton, known better as an actor than a singer, is set to release his new solo album, "Beautiful Door," on June 29.
A press release says Thornton's love of country, rock and folk combines to make "Beautiful Door" a reflection about politics, war, religion and innocent people, a very diverse amalgamation of songs.
Thornton had the aid of fellow artists Brad Davis, Leland Sklar, Teddy Andreadis and Graham Nash to help in the production of the album.

Thornton, an Academy Award winner, has acted in over 30 movie productions and was once married to famous actress Angelina Jolie.
