South Korean consumer electronics maker LG Electronics has launched their Time Machine TV in the Indian market. The company claims that this new television makes TV viewing much more intelligent than before.
The product is aimed at tech customers who want to control how they watch television at home.
The television set is equipped with a built-in digital video recorder and the viewer is able to pause, rewind and replay live TV programs as per convenience after the original broadcast.
This is a product brought to India at a time when the Cricket World Cup fever is spread in the country and the sales of television sets are higher during this period.
Using the built in HDD recorder technology, the viewers of the television set can watch any of the pre-telecasted shows on their sets.
Signals can be saved in analogue and digital TV mode. And the television set also is capable of recording from external input devices like camcorders, DVD players, game consoles onto the HDD recorder inside the TV.
