Looks like Ne-Yo will be topping the charts this week, as his sophomore album, Because Of You, debuts at no. 1 on the Billboard 200, knocking pop punk princess Avril Lavigne off the throne after she reigned for two weeks. The singer enters the charts, moving 251,000 copies in his first week, fueled by the success of the album's title track, which is no.

5 on the Hot 100 singles chart. His debut album, 2005's In My Own Words, moved 301,000 copies in its first week and has sold 1.4 million to date, which also debuted at no.

1. Akon was finally knocked out of the top 10 this week, coming in at no. 11 with 43,000 scanned, putting Konvicted's total sales over 2.

2 million. R B singer Joe takes a nose dive down 12 spots to no. 14 after debuting at no.

2 last week with his sixth full-length set, Ain't Nothing Like Me. The album moved another 33,000 copies, recording a 66.1% drop from last week's number.

His total sales are now at 131,000. Super producer Timbaland and his comeback album, Shock Value, drops out of the top 20 this week, coming in at no. 26, moving an addition 23,000, bringing his grand total to 288,000 so far.

Others maintaining a slot on the charts this week include Young Buck with his sophomore set, Buck The World, which comes in at no. 38 with 17,000 sold; Paul Wall's Get Money, Stay True continues to fall down the charts landing at no. 45 spot with just 15,000 scanned this week; Rich Boy's self-titled debut comes in at no.

62 with just 10,000 this week; while Redman moves 5,000, bringing him the 137 slot with total sales of only 90,000. Lil Flip's I Need Mine manages to stay just within the 200 mark, at no. 191 with 4,000 for the week, while Devin The Dude's Waitin' To Inhale comes right behind him at no.

6% from last week's total at 8.43 million units and down 16.2% compared to the same week last year.

Overall sales are down 16.7% compared to last year at 160 million units.
