Roland Mouret launched his new 21 piece RM collection in Paris recently. It has been two years since the talented designer showcased his designs, following a bitter spilt from his former business partner. Mouret s name is synonymous with his infamous Galaxy dress which was the fashion hit of 2005.
A host of celebrities including Demi Moore, Cate Blanchett, Victoria Beckham, Scarlett Johansson, Rachel Weisz, and Sienna Miller made the dress their red carpet staple. However the designer told the Telegraph:" I will never forget the Galaxy. I love it and the opportunities it gave me, but I wanted to create a new feminine shape.
" "But that was the past, this is something new. I am RM now. I don t think I will ever use my name on a label again.
