because there s no way even the worst among the girls could be as bad as the boys last night.
That was the worst debut of semifinalists in Idol s history. Not one guy demonstrated the chops to be there onstage.
Awful, wretched performances. The show felt so long I was sure it had to be midnight by the time it ended.
And what was with Seacrest oogling the girls?
Overcompensate much? Accept for a second he is heterosexual (bhahahahha) - some of these young ladies are teenagers. And he s the freaking host!
More grossness came when Seacrest don t call me sweetheart went after Cowell. It didn t take long for them to trot out their homophobic insults. Cowell was in a real snit by the end of the night, and it didn t help that Seacrest was so disrespectful that he omitted Simon s name in the closing signout.
There s just no way the girls can be this bad. Is there any way we can convince the judges to eliminate all 12 guys and give the finalist spots to the girls? “I don’t know how they’ll top that treadmill dance but here goes,” TRL VJ Stephen Colletti said, today, before the world television premier of OK Go’s video for the song, “Do What You Want.
”
More than 15 million people watched the Grammy award winning video for “Here It Goes Again” at YouTube.com and at 3:45 p.m.
, the quartet from the Midwest added another bizarre video to their repertoire. It’s equally outrageous as the band’s treadmill dance routine.
In the video for “Do What You Want,” every character and object is covered with the band’s signature paisley fabric.
The pattern and concept is interesting but the video lacks the comforting, homemade quality of OK Go’s other short films.
Here’s when us old fogies (over 25) gaze into space and think back to when the boys of OK Go secured a camcorder on a tripod to record routines, that singer Damian Kulash’s sister would choreograph for them. Check out the video for “A Million Ways,” at www.
okgo.net to get the whole picture.
Now they’re on to bigger things.
Damian Kulash directed the fabric happy short film, but the band also hired alt-rock videogprahper, Olivier “Twist” Gondry (The Vines, Hot Hot Heat, The Stills), to direct another version of the video for “Do What You Want.”
TRL guest Eva Mendes added, “I think it’s disgustingly creative. I think they put other videos to shame.
”
What should OK Go do next?
OK Go joins Snow Patrol next Monday, for an extensive North American tour. They are scheduled to play Agganis Arena on March 28.
OK Go will also tour with the Fray starting in June. Rae fell victim to the mysterious, uber-stupid Harmony rapist, who literally stabbed her in the back.
Rae was the girlfriend of Simone (Cathy Jeneen Doe), and you can be forgiven for not knowing much about these characters or their relationship.
In the two years since Jinaro debuted, she was given little to do and made only a handful of appearances.
Her fate was sealed, in my opinion, when the character of Chad (Charles Divins) was outed as having an affair with a still-unseen man. Three gay characters on a daytime soap – (four if you count the mystery guy)?
Not happening. Rae had to go.
This rapist story line is just vile and has been going on for months.
I’m guessing the masked madman has to be Alistair Crane. Why? Because every “Passions” mystery has always involved Alistair Crane.
“Passions” ends its run in September – I’m just hoping they’ll manage to resolve one story line. Just one.
