Missing hiker located by Sheriff's deputies Camarillo OB/GYN may lose license over patient relationship Temperatures expected to reach 100 degrees this week John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard was locked down briefly Sunday night after a man with a gunshot wound caused a stir in the emergency room, police said. Tomas Gomez, 22, of Oxnard, showed up at the hospital about 10:30 p.m.
with a gunshot wound to his right forearm, said David Keith, a spokesman for the Oxnard Police Department. Hospital staff called for a lockdown after Gomez was allegedly "loud and very disruptive," Keith said. Keith would not elaborate on the disruptive behavior.
He directed questions to the hospital. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident. Oxnard police are investigating, but as of Monday afternoon they had not determined how Gomez was shot, Keith said.
