Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (9 p.m. The routine of the show is pretty much set by now — it follows her adventures and travails as she travels the country doing stand-up gigs and having weird adventures with her family and staff.

This season, she’s got an expanded entourage and her former husband Matt is gone — there’s a scene of real emotion in the first episode as she discusses the betrayals that ended her marriage and how her divorce made her feel like a failure. You either like Griffin and her shtick, or you don’t, so for fans of the acerbic celebrity-skewing comic, you’re hereby reminded that the third season of D List has arrived. I’m not sure I’ll watch every episode of this season — I’m fickle like that, and kind of feel like I’ve been there, done that — but Griffin’s show is a moderately entertaining enterprise, as summer reality TV goes.

Even better is the naughtily named stand-up comedy special that airs at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Bravo, in which Griffin recounts her encounters with the Olsen twins and Lindsay Lohan and the like.

For people who’ve occasionally stayed up way too late and rotted their brains by reading gossip blogs (not that I would ever do that, of course), this is a juicy, escapist hour of TV. in Kathy Griffin | Permalink | Comments (0) Griffin and Moline reconciled about six months ago, and appeared to be together during the filming of the second season of “My Life on the D-List,” which wrapped most taping in mid-April. Moline himself developed a cult following through the show; he was an ever-patient, wry support system for Griffin as she navigated the more bizarre reaches of the entertainment industry.

Entertainment Tonight took down the Griffin story late in the day Wednesday, but a CNN spokeswoman confirmed what Griffin said to King and said the news network was attempting to reach Moline for comment on Griffin’s statements. The spokeswoman said an air date had not been determined for Griffin’s interview, but it might air Friday. In an interview with the Tribune in late May (which was excerpted here), Griffin said she didn’t want to talk about her relationship with Moline “at this time” because she didn’t want the second season of her show to echo “Breaking Bonaduce,” a harsh reality show chronicling the harrowing personal life and marriage of Danny Bonaduce.

“We’re really proud of the Iraq shows” -- Griffin traveled to Iraq to entertain troops in the spring, which was chronicled on D-List -- “and we want the show to stand on its own,” Griffin said in May, adding that perhaps she would talk about what transpired with Moline after the second season had finished airing. Griffin wasn’t available for comment Wednesday; her spokeswoman said the comic was on a cruise ship near Alaska. in Kathy Griffin | Permalink | Comments (22) Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (9 p.
