The Charlotte Post is hoping its People of Prominence "Race Matters" panel discussion tonight will foster debate about race relations.
The Post invited six prominent Charlotte African Americans to discuss their life experiences and the role race played in their careers. WSOC-TV news anchor Erica Bryant will host the 6 p.

A question-and-answer session will follow.

Charlotte snagged the No.

The event costs $75.
