'The Bat Signal' has news on a new Val Kilmer film that's just got underway a few miles up the road from Area 51.
Says our scooper, "Val Kilmer will headline "Conspiracy". The story concerns a seasoned senior
enlisted special operations Marine who is wounded during combat operations in Iraq.
He recovers but is retired from the Marine Corps. He visits a friend on a ranch in the south west during his convalesce but when he arrives he discovers his friend has disappeared and no one will even admit to knowing of him. The production started filming yesterday in New Mexico".
So rumours suggesting he's cameoing as an older Bruce Wayne - in a flash forward sequence - in "The Dark Knight" are false, then? ;)
This is priceless. Of course everybody knew that line was a joke.

except . Best laugh I've had all day. I guess that's what you get when you don't do ya research, hey!
