As these photos show, Fanny thinks nothing of rubbing shoulders with the stars at some of London s glitziest premieres and parties. However, it s taken 18 years of hard work to become an expert in climate change and celebrity advisor. Fanny says: I was always interested in the environment.

At school I wrote a letter to Green Peace asking if I could join up. Thankfully they took me on and while my friends went to college I went to fight for planet earth. Over the years I ve tied myself to railings and invaded chemical plants to protest about the environment.

Around the late 80s climate change was beginning to be taken seriously, so I was lucky to be involved with the issue from the start. At Green Peace I learnt how to change the direction of the world through the things people do. My focus at Global Cool is to stop climate change and it s great to have celebrities on board to help achieve it.

Global Cool s ambitious aim is to get one billion people worldwide to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions. This would have a positive impact on climate change - but the goal is complicated by a number of factors. Fanny explains: It presents a huge challenge as we have to stop using fuels like petrol, coal and gas.

A lot of the world economy is built on these things so governments aren t keen to phase them out. The future lies in solar power and water power. Actually KT Tunstall is having solar panels fitted in her house and Sienna Miller has changed her electricity to a green supplier.

But just cutting down the energy you use is a positive move. You can turn down the heating one degree, fit energy efficient light-bulbs, boil only the water you need and use a microwave oven. It all adds up.

Fanny has also got gorgeous celebs like Josh Hartnett, Sienna Miller and Heather Graham to agree to Global Cool s My CO2 workout. The novelty scheme is designed to reduce daily carbon emissions, and Fanny hopes Sun online readers will get involved too. Fanny says: MY CO2 is the new fitness craze, only this benefits the health of planet earth.

You pledge to make various changes to your daily routine and find out at the end how much you ve shrunk your carbon footprint. We hope it will inspire people to be more mindful of the environment. Being green doesn t have to be a huge hassle.

The celebrities I work with must be some of the busiest people on the planet. If they can manage it, so can you. As these photos show, Fanny thinks nothing of rubbing shoulders with the stars at some of London s glitziest premieres and parties.
