Today's Photo Treasure Hunt is from 1990, shot by Sentinel photographer Bobby Coker. It's construction of the late Kongfrontation at Universal Studios. The photo (after the jump) backs up my two-word memory of this attraction: banana breath.


I've heard from folks who remember Kongfrontation fondly. Many love the line and adding graffiti to the walls with their Sharpie. But to me that queue was like we were cattle being led to slaughter.

And there was no order or single file action either. Chaos! So, for me, hats off to Kong's replacement, Revenge of the Mummy.
