Well, all I can really say is that if you liked the 1st, you'll like the 2nd. The two films are pretty much the same, in terms of rating (8, in this case). There was more action than the first, but when there wasn't any action it was kinda slow.
I like how there are three villains instead of one (Well, I don't know about the Silver Surfer). Doom returns, and Galactus is in it, too (If the Silver Surfer's in here, Galactus pretty much has to be). The only thing that I didn't like about Galactus was that they could have, well revealed more of him.
He was in the movie enough, I'm just saying that instead of being in human form like the comic books and cartoons and video games he was just a giant ball of fire. He was still awesome, though. I also like how the F4 exchange powers near the end.
The stories kind of the same as the first: the Silver Surfer arrives on earth when the F4 figure out that the Silver Surfer can "eat" planets, so they have to find a way to stop him. Doom comes back..
.at first, he's required to help the F4 beat the SS, but later Doom turns bad again. To make things even worse, the SS explains to the F4 that he isn't the one who eats the planets, but Galactus, so they have someone else to deal with, yet, at the same time as stopping Dr.
The acting was perfecto...
10/10. I know when the first film was released, many people were "unsatisfied" that Jessica Alba plays the Invisible Woman, but her performance gets better from here. The SS, played by Laurence Fishburne (Better known as "Morpheus") probably did the best job, though he didn't have as many lines in the movie.
The CG was awesome. I remember when "Superman Returns" came out, the CG was so bad that it was almost unwatchable (1/10 stars). But, the CG was very good in this.
It almost didn't look CG, but you could still tell. The director did kind of an average job on the movie. The cinematography was the way I like it.
The worst was probably the music. The music from the first was a lot better. Danny Elfman is my favorite composer, and I remember him doing the first F4 as well as other "Marvel" works (Spider-Man, X-Men.
..)and does a fabsnabulous job.
My favorite movie of his was "Batman Returns." Impossible not to like. I don't remember if Elfman did F4:RotSS, but if he did, this was a big disappointment.
