Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced 'Hot Fuzz' will be available on Combo Format HD DVD July 31, the same day 'Shaun of the Dead' makes its first high definition appearance. In addition, Universal has announced the second and most likely final wave of catalog HD DVD titles for August will be released on the 28th and include 'Dawn of the Dead (Unrated Director's Cut),' 'The Hurricane' and 'Notting Hill.' 'The Hurricane' had originally been scheduled for release May 22 before being pulled from the schedule.
'Hot Fuzz' will be presented in widescreen 2.35:1 1080p video and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 EX audio.
Extra features are abundant including four feature-length commentaries and just about anything else you can think of. The lenghty full list is available through the disc details below. 'The Hurricane' will be presented in 1080p video and Dolby Digital Plus 5.
1 audio while 'Notting Hill' and 'Dawn of the Dead' will sport Dolby TrueHD lossless audio tracks. All three catalog titles will include identical extra features found on their standard DVD counterparts, also viewable through the disc details below.
