Pick a trainer from the 80 available professionals (several of whom are famous), pick your sport, choose music from your own playlist and get ready to go. Learning how to find a perfect online trainer takes some practice. Here's my advice after downloading three workouts.
Log on to podfitness.com and follow the instructions for a 10-day free trial. You'll be asked to fill out a fitness profile (age range, exercise experience, gender), which Podfitness will use to pair you with a trainer.
Sort of like Match.com. Based on the information in your fitness profile, I was told, we have recommended Mike Young as your trainer and 'combined training' as your activity.
Each pro has a little bio and picture so that you can get to know them better. Mike Young, it turns out, is a boyishly cute former football player who snowboards, wakeboards and hunts. Why do they think he's a good match for me?
I do none of those things. But you're not bound to the person the site picks for you; feel free to pick from the approximately 80 other trainers.
