The Chlotrudis Society for Independent Film announces a call for entries, accepting international submissions for its Eighth Annual Short Film Festival competition which will be held in Winter 2008 in the metro Boston area. Submissions will be accepted through 1 October 2007, with an Early Bird deadline of 1 September 2007, Advanced Deadline of 15 September and an Extended Deadline of 15 October. The fees for submission are $15 (Early Bird deadline), $25 (Advanced Deadline), $30 (Regular Deadline), and $45 (Extended Deadline).

Films under twenty minutes in length, live-action, animated, narrative and documentary are eligible. Previous year’s winners THE WINE BAR and TRINA’S COLLECTIONS have gone on to much success, playing film festivals both nationally and worldwide since their Chlotrudis wins.
