The Game is retiring, already? Well maybe that's not entirely true, but he hinted at possibly stepping away from music after his next album. During the taping of QD3's DVD, "Beef IV," the rapper said that he's done all that he's set out to do in hip-hop, but didn't exactly speak on leaving.
"I think three classic albums are good for me, you know?" The Game said, eventually using the past tense. "I got my point across.
I was a prominent figure on the West Coast and a bigger figure in hip-hop as a whole. I think I made my impact enough for my name to be said and remembered." "Last album.
One more to go," he said. Currently, The Game said he's on a little vacation, taking time out to spend with his family and friends. .
.. Taboo, of Black Eyed Peas fame, pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles court room on Friday (May 25) for possession of marijuana.
The rapper was arrested earlier this month on the drug charges after he was involved in a minor accident in Los Angeles (see ). Police reportedly found less than one ounce of marijuana in his car as well as a medication for which he had no prescription. He was arrested, charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession and released on $5,000 bond.
A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for June 28. If found guilty, he is likely to pay a fine of no more than $200, and possibly receive probation or community service. .
.. Bow Wow and Omarion have announced a release date of November 13 for their recently revealed collaborative album (see ).
The young artists say that they've wanted to do an album together for years and now they finally have the opportunity. "Me and O have been trying to put this together for so many years, and now we've got the opportunity to do it," Bow Wow told Billboard.com recently.
"We're in the creative process right now, coming up with ideas daily, so the process is real smooth." "This isn't about money, this is about music," adds Omarion. "This is gonna be fun, so 'World, Watch out!

. Lil Fizz, of B2K, shot a video on Saturday (May 26) for the first single, "Beds," from his upcoming solo debut, Payday. Filmed in a private Beverly Hills estate, Fizz had his entire B2K family on set for cameos, including Omarion, who was the first to split from the group to pursue a solo career.
During the video, Fizz is trying to find a spot in the mansion, but during his quest to find a room, he finds he is beaten to it by his friends. Ray J even makes a cameo, stealing one of the beds in the house. Payday will be available on iTunes on July 3.

California-based clothing line, Streetwise, held an event to showcase their upcoming fall line at the Crewest art gallery in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday (May 26). The Streetwise crew provided hip-hop music via self-proclaimed L.A.
Mixtape King DJ Warrior, and free food and drinks for those in attendance. Knoc-tur'nal, female rapper Diamonique, producer Fingazz and photographer Eriberto Oriol were among those who showed up to support. .
