Services for Charles Chuck Hales will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Rolling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Hales, 64, of Meridian, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired mechanic technician.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Ivy Hales of Meridian; daughters, Pam Cooper and her husband, Buddy, of Hackberry, La., Rita Gibson and her husband, Johnny, of Sulfur, La.; step-daughters, Helen Russell and her husband, Bryant, of Chunky, Janice Thomas and her husband, Donnie, of Meridian, Brenda Thornton and her husband, Guy, of Bailey, Glenda Baggett of Meridian; step-daughter-in-law, Shirley Ivey of Meridian; step-son, Jimmy Ivy and his wife, Mary, of Meridian; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Juanita Hales Cook of Virginia Beach, Va.
, Norma Jean Hales Adams and Deanna Faye Hales Gibson, both of Madison, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ina Mae Burt and Otis Murphy Hales Sr.
; step-son, Butch Ivey; sister, Doris Marie Hales Smith, Hazel Ruth Hales, Ina Louise Hales Mitchell; brothers, Otis Murphy Hales Jr. and Robert Calvin (Bob) Hales. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 p.
