Oh dear, Boney Kapoor is in a fix for a director for the sequel to Mr India, now that Nikhil Advani has backed out of the project.
What gives?
Advani shed some light in a chat with India FM: "Quite frankly, the offer came to me at a very early stage.

This is what happened: Anil Kapoor (pictured) and I were shooting on a tube train for my film, Salaam-E-Ishq, when we got around to talking about the sequel to Mr India. Suddenly, he asked me if I'd be interested in directing the sequel and I said, why not? That's it.

Beyond that, I haven't been approached. Right now I am busy with the pre-production of my new film with Akshay Kumar for the Sippys."
And now the hunt is on for someone to direct the sequel.

How is it going?

"Not very far, I'm afraid," said Anil, who played the title role earlier.
"In fact, right now it looks pretty impossible to do a sequel to Mr India.

"
But Boney is adamant: "I don't care who's with me on this. But a sequel to Mr India will happen. It may take some time.

But I will make it - that's for sure.
