What is the Eastern Daily Press and The Mall, Norwich Get Equipped Schools Competition? The Eastern Daily Press has joined forces with The Mall, Norwich for the third year running to help provide local schools with much needed sports equipment. We have 25,000 to give to Schools in the EDP catchment area (see map below) and we have split this area into 5 sections to ensure a School from each area will become a winner.
This year we are giving 2,000 to each winning school and 1000 to a runner-up in each of the five areas, giving you a higher chance of winning than ever before. The remaining 10,000 will then be divided amongst all the schools that enter. Last year 110 schools each receive 90.
90 just for entering. All you have to do to enter is collect 2000 tokens from the EDP and tell us in 250 words or fewer What you would like to spend the money on and why . To take part in Get Equipped simply to let us know of your interest and we will then send you a no obligation, free-of charge pack to tell you all about the competition.
It also has posters and envelopes to help you collect the tokens and a letter to send home to your children s parents. You can register at any point, however, if you register before 23rd June 2007 you will automatically receive 250 bonus tokens to help jump-start your collection. Tokens will be printed daily in the EDP throughout the promotion from Saturday 23rd June to 22nd September 2007.
