It's in with the rest of the info now, but to make it easier: He sold 1,000 copies this week, down from 1,700 the previous week, and his total is 689,000.
Helen Mason wondered why Ruben's total is always the same. That's not quite true, but it does seem like it. Our agreement with SoundScan stipulates that we have to round off six-figure totals to the nearest thousand, so when an artist like Ruben is selling 600-700 copies a week, sometimes that won't be enough to change the rounded-off total.
That's what happened this week -- he sold 600 more copies of his album, but the rounded total stayed at 229,000. Two weeks ago, it was 228,000. Change at this point is likely to be similarly glacial.
