Sony has confirmed that the current 60gb model PS3 will drop in price from $600 to $500 effective Monday. Now here's the surprise..
. they announced ANOTHER model that will replace the $600 model. This 'new' PS3 will be identical to the 60gb model except it will come with an 80gb hard drive AND a game.
I hope you guys like/want MotorStorm because that's what you're getting. Unfortunately those eager beavers wanting to get their hands on the new 80gb $600 version will have to wait until August. Sony also said they have plans to offer high-definition movie downloads for the PS3 but details won't be announced until a later date.
