Initiating the Western India channel development program for this financial year, Intex Technologies recently held a Resellers Business Development Meet (RBDM) for its Vadodara channel partners in the city. The company had more than 125 channel partners at the event belonging to three major business verticals - PC, consumer electronics and computer peripherals. Speaking on the occasion, Sudhir Kumar, zonal manager-west, Intex, said, "Baroda is the third most important region after Ahmedabad and Surat in Gujarat.
It is also one of the most demanding markets for us in Western India. Last FY saw a growth of 50 percent in the sales revenue. This year we aim to achieve 100 percent growth by penetrating further into the region and adjoining areas like Anand, Bharauch, Panchmahal, Dahod, Narmada, etc.
We already have three full-fledged service centers at Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Surat catering to the service requirements of Gujarat region." The participants had discussion on business plans and practices with the company officials including Nazim Ashraf, RSM-PC-West region; Pawan Kumar, RSM - Consumer Elecrtonics-West Region; Somendra Lahiri, Branch Head-Gujarat and Bhavesh Shah, ASM-Gujarat. There was felicitation of top 10 dealers operating under company's major distributors like Vcare, Compucraft and Madhuraj.
