We just got you, your first look at Red Princess Blues a film by my pal Alex Ferrari. He thinks he is Robert Rodriguez some days of the week, but lucky for him he has the talent to back it up as proven in his last project BROKEN which is still to this day in my top 3 indie films ever watched. And I watch alot of indie films!
This go around he has given us two posters for Red Princess his first feature film. The film is being billed as a "Violent Fairy Tale by Alex Ferrari." It's like a spaghetti western blew up in a 70's exploitation film and then was tossed into a graphic novel.
Quick Synopsis: Princess' thirst for revenge against the people who wronged her, takes her on a twisted "Wizard of Oz" style journey of love, honor and vengeance. The film is slated to star the lovely Paula Garces (Harold Kumar, The Shield) and will revolve around unique characters and crazy locations like a whorehouse named "The Dirty Mexican." The screenplay is done and the filmmakers are looking for funding.
There are plans to shoot the first 10 minutes of the movie to show studios and possible investors the world and action Alex Ferrari trying to create. Also, because these guys are nuts, they might be doing a animated short film prequel to Princess. Visual Effects Company Numb Robot and the masterful artist Dan Cregan would be working on the prequel.
