Must have excellent operational knowledge of video switchers, DVE's, still store and other broadcast equipment. Minimum one year experience as a live director and technical director is mandatory.

WVEC, seeks an energetic and entrepreneurial individual to lead our interactive sales team. Duties for this position include selling online advertising as well as supervising 2 online Account Executives, instructing, by example and other ways, sales personnel in the most effective methods of handling interactive sales. You will also be responsible for maintaining close contact with local agencies advertisers, and work with the television managers in overseeing all aspects of internet revenue.
This includes but is not limited to making sales calls with local staff as well as a close watch on competitive developments in the market place including the quality of competing salespeople, pricing, inventory, etc. Develop and assist sales staff to create sales presentations; make certain that all paperwork, in connection with online sales, is promptly accurately entered into Insertion Order system. Run daily, weekly monthly reports on internet sales activity; review these reports with AE s and manager.

Must be capable of repairs to the component level, and on occasion provide engineering support for live, remote telecasts. Physical Requirements: The position will require standing, walking, climbing ladders, balancing, running cables, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Work requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
