Retail theft - Jessie James McGee, 27, of Pellston, Mich., was cited for retail theft after he was caught trying to steal a TV and two DVD players from Target, 2553 Sun Valley Drive, at 6:24 p.m.

May 14. According to the police report, McGee took a 17-inch Truetech TV and two Memorex DVD players from the store. He also allegedly took items from two other Targets in the area.

Fraud - Kenneth S. Sherfinski, 3008 Price Road, reported two credit cards stolen at 8:20 a.m.

May 22. According to police, Sherfinski noticed the cards missing May 17. By May 20, $6,000 in fraudulent purchases had been run up on the cards.

Hit-and-run - Alissa Quinn, 19, of N69 W29771 Ridgeview Court was cited for hit-and-run, damaging property and drunken driving at about 1:59 a.m. May 25 along Highway 83.

According to the police report, a Hartland police officer hit the inside of a wheel rim on Highway 83, about 500 feet south of Capitol Drive. The officer surveyed the scene and found several car parts, damaged signs and traffic cones, and a license plate. The officer found the damaged car and the driver in the Walgreens parking lot at Hartbrook Mall.

Nicholas Karienke, 20, was stopped in downtown Okauchee near N51 W34950 Wisconsin Avenue at about 10 p.m. May 16.

According to police records, the 22-year-old in the car with him had purchased beer and had it in the vehicle. Disorderlies - During a bar check at about 12:30 a.m.

Roos, 136 Highland Ave., reported their vehicles had been egged sometime overnight May 23. At about 4 p.

m. May 22, police received a report of the boy's yellow Dodge truck leaving a 75-foot-long skid mark on Parkland Court, the police report said. Witnesses on Parkland Court were able to give police more information about the yellow truck, which police stopped in the 300 block of Oakton Avenue, the report said.

The boy admitted to leaving the skid mark. When police asked whether the occupants of the truck were in possession of anything they shouldn't have, the boy turned over a small container of Salvia divinorum, a hallucinogenic Mexican herb historically used as a divinatory psychedelic, the report said. It is not a controlled substance, but officers confiscated it and said the boy's parents could reclaim it if they wanted.

Police also searched a purse and found a pack of Marlboro cigarettes that the girl admitted were hers, the report said.
