There was a time when the festival was almost always country, but it's varied in recent years. Last year it was the pop-rock of Rob Thomas and Anna Nalick. The year before that it was the soul of James Brown and Macy Gray.
This year it's blues and a movie. Jim Belushi (yes, the actor) and the Sacred Hearts, a 10-person R B band, will perform, followed by the 2005 animated movie Hoodwinked, which features the voice of, among others, Jim Belushi. So why a movie?

In the 1940s, '50s and '60s, they created one of the most influential styles of harmony as well as a long list of great songs. Ira Louvin died in a 1965 car wreck, but Charlie Louvin continued on.
Over the years, the Louvins' songs were rediscovered by Gram Parsons and others. Fortunately, Charlie Louvin himself has been rediscovered like Ralph Stanley and others by those looking for a connection with the real thing. Earlier this year, he released his first studio album in more than a decade.
Among those appearing on it with Louvin were Elvis Costello, Jeff Tweedy, Tift Merritt and George Jones. He plays 8:30 p.m.
