Crime Stoppers needs your help, in catching two Hispanic males who have been targeting Wal-Mart stores, between Chattanooga and Knoxville and parts west. Police really don't have a direction to be looking in, because these guys have been burning up I-75, between here and Knoxville as well as Highway 27, from here to Oak Ridge. They're hitting Wal-Mart stores and they specialize in electronics.
The last four stores they've hit, are Soddy Daisy, Collegedale, Lenoir City and then back to Dayton. We have video of the thieves, two Hispanic males, stealing electronics from the new Wal-Mart store in Collegedale. The video shows them walking into the electronics department, late at night, or in the early morning hours, removing DVD players, laptop computers, and I-pods from their security display, and hiding them under their clothing, and walking out of the store.
From the videos, it appears one of them is heavy set, with black short hair, wearing a black t-shirt and khaki shorts. The other man is shorter, with even shorter black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
And at one of the other stores, they were seen leaving the scene, in a black Ford Explorer "Sport Trac". So far, these two have stolen more than $10,000 dollars worth of electronics from these Wal-Mart stores, and they're likely to hit another one, at any time. If you think you know these two guys, Crime Stoppers has a big reward waiting foy you.
