VerveLife is looking for a Media Licensing Coordinator to support the execution of our content acquisition strategy. Working with the Director of Media Licensing, the position’s primary responsibility will be to negotiate, secure and process licenses for use of music and other digital media included in VerveLife’s award winning promotions. The Media Licensing Coordinator will also be responsible for aggregating download data from each promotion, and managing compensation to the copyright holders with our finance department.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate licenses and permissions with copyright owners of music, video, games and other digital media included in VerveLife promotions.
- Research copyright ownership, facilitate clearance requests and develop and maintain relationships with content owners.
- Track clearance status and costs and disseminate information to Team.
- Manage contract administration: contract review, negotiation and execution by securing signatures and processing payments.
- Maintain contract files for all programs and track relevant rights and restrictions.
- Assist Team with special projects.
Desired skill sets:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in music/entertainment field in a business affairs, rights clearances or licensing capacity.
- Ambitious go-getter capable of working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, team environment.
- Strong communication and negotiating skills.
- Industry relationships.
- Ability to multi-task and organize heavy project flow.
This job is full time and operates out of our Chicago headquarters on Michigan Avenue.
