Born in San Antonio, Texas, and raised in Biloxi, Miss., Stephanie spent most of her time singing, dancing and playing the piano. Two of her biggest influences are fellow Mississippians who have very unique styles and who she first heard and fell in love with, not from the radio, but from watching and hearing their music on TV in the movies.
She's a graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she sang in a traveling all-girl trio, Southern Dolls, on a music scholarship, performing songs from the Andrew Sisters, the Supremes, the Judds, and the Pointer Sisters. Moving to Nashville after graduation, Stephanie began writing full time and doing session work for other writers and music houses. She has sung on quite a few regional, national and international commercials as a session singer, including recently singing background vocals with country artist Darryl Worley for Kmart.
A fun gig she really loves is performing in front of thousands of Elvis fans from all over the world. Graceland has continuously invited Stephanie to perform an original song she co-wrote with Freddie Weller and David Spear, "Elvis Movie," for their international fan clubs during Elvis Week. She also owns a modeling and talent agency in Nashville, Memphis and Houston.
She'll be taking the agency national next year, representing models and talent in 50 cities -- helping people reach their dreams across the country.
