Fillmmaker Brad McGann dies

The New Zealand film industry is mourning the death of filmmaker Brad McGann.
The acclaimed director has lost his battle with cancer.
McGann received worldwide accolades and awards for his 2004 movie In My Father's Den, an adaptation of Maurice Gee's novel.

He also directed award-winning short film Possum and was made a Member of The New Zealand Order of Merit last year.
Brad McGann was 43.
