Oh, I think I feel a blog coming on!
Just before 8 in the evening this Tuesday. Weather.com says that it's 5 degrees outside. It wasn't a really bad day weather-wise, 5 degrees without any wind is not at all bad.
I don't have much time to blog this evening because I've got to use this time to send out a bunch more of emails for Izzy's internship - I wish I could figure out a faster way of doing it - using mail merge or something.
Will have to fiddle with my Outlook Express and see if anything is do-able.
Yesterday was a good day as well. I forgot half my lunch at home, but Suresh brought his leftovers from the club the night before - all kinds of really great Indian food, and I couldn't help myself.
Of course, I was doing Suresh a favor too, which added to my enjoyment! However, it was all extremely rich and spicy. I haven't eaten that much for lunch in a long time.
After lunch it felt as if I just swallowed a large, hot, spicy rock or something. I had some mirchi bhajias (large peppers dipped in a gramflour batter and deep fried - yumm!!
) and paneer chilli (paneer is a kind of cottage cheese). Needless to say, I didn't get much work done.
Came home and didn't feel like eating much either.
I completely skipped dinner, though I did have some cream crackers later no when I started feeling a little peckish.
Had a great workout at the gym - by the time I was done, almost every single muscle in my body was aching - I guess it means that I did a good job. I left my computer on to finish downloading two more movies - Wedding Crashers and Dodgeball - it was done by the time I got home, so I burnt them onto CDs - though I haven't watched them yet.
Dodgeball has a great print, Wedding Crashers is ok...
it's a good camera print.
Downloading movies is turning into a bit of an obsession - it's so convenient, and considering what it costs to rent a DVD in this country - phew! It's tempting.
I'm aware of the fact though that this is highly illegal, I'll just keep at it till someone comes to arrest me - or tries to make me pay for all the mp3s I've donwloaded. I ought to burn everything on to CDs and just destry the evidence. Then dig a hole in the yard at the back, and bury the CDs there - where the intellectual property rights watchdogs will never find it.
Ahh...
you think it sounds like a good plan, but only a developed mind can see through the tiny lapse in this plan! If I bury them in the yeard, I'd have to go down and dig them up every time I wanted to watch them! I'll have to live with having the evidence strewn all over my living room in the meantime.
I might watch Wedding Crashers tonight. I like Owen Wilson - but Owen Wilson with Ben Stiller is even better.
Anyway, onto other business.
I chatted with Tush a little while ago and I wondered out loud what I should blog about - he suggested Eva Longoria. And I did consider it for a moment. I mean, I like Eva Longoria, as do probably most straight men with proper vision on this planet.
But when I looked around some other blogs, there seem to be wayyyy to many blogs and sites out there focussed on celebrity tits and ass, so I decided against it. However, as is turning into a ritual with these blogs, I have to mention the name of a very beautiful actress I caught on tv last night. The movie playing was Boat Trip, but it was so late that I decided that if I wanted to stay awake at my desk the next morning, I better switch off the TV.
Anyway, in Boat Trip - apart from Cuba Gooding Jr and Roger Moore - is the lovely Roselyn Sanchez. Naturally, I had to look her up. The movie itself was quite hilarious - I watched it for only about 15 minutes, and it gave me a few chuckles even in that short period of time, and being the sucker that I am for comedies, it took a lot of will power to draw myself away from the TV set.
That's a shot from the movie, but I just had to stick in another more interesting photo of her.
That's going to be enough about celebrities and their assets. The internet is such a treasurechest for celebrity-addicts looking for dirt on their idols.
It's almost sick.
I'm almost done for the evening. I should wrap this post up in another 15 minutes.
Looking forward to the Christmas party on Saturday night. The f***er I was supposed to let stay over at my place decided (quite conveniently - without telling me) to not take up my offer. I don't understand what it is with Indians - you offer to do them a favour, and they don't even bother telling you if they don't want to take it up.
Doesn;t matter...
maybe they'll learn, maybe they won't. It's the last time I offer to any Indians any favours of that sort - giving them lifts or letting them stay over.
On to a happier subject.
I've been on eBay again - last minute auctions. I found some simply unbelievable cars just about to be sold. And here's just a sampling:
This is a 97 P-reg 735iL with 50 minutes left to go - going for about £2350!
!!!
The only thing is that it's already done 185000 miles. But then, it's a 3.5 litre, it should be ok.
OK - I gotta hurry up now cos Tush is bored and wants to read my blog - and I thought I had a sad life! He's just given me an idea - to write about the Xavierite scumbags on my blog. As much as it's going to stink up the internet - it might actually be a good idea.
Let's see - there's Orgasmo the bottomless barrel, then Mucor the chauvinistic Superbong, Monitor the ultimate Fussball...
.hmmm..
...
these are the main "protagonists"...
.there are some others - Hairy the Sambaar-slurper..
..speaking of which I made the most awful-tasting sambar this evening for dinner.
It said sambar powder on the packet, but it was just a mediocre combination f many spices really.
Anyway, more on schoolmates later. Next on the block, 95 M-reg 316 with only 100,000 miles on the clock - not bad for a 10 year old car!
Full sevice history and it's an SE, so it's fully loaded. It's got 12 hours left on auction, no reserve and it's only up to £770 so far!!
It'll probably sell for about £1000!!!
!! I was a LITTLE bit crazier, I might have put in a bid myself.
Last one before I sign off. 97 mercedes C220D. 133,000 miles on the clock (peanuts for a Merc Diesel), 2.
2 litre ...
.ohhh, sweet! Nearly full service history, 50 minutes left on auction, and this one has reached only £2150 so far!
Anyway, must sign off now and get to work on Izzy's internship. I hope I can help her find something quick. Europe is just so different from the US or from India even.
It's a real pain in the ass trying to look for a job in another country!
Good night world, here's to tomorrow.
Vrooom vroom!
