15, 2007 (KABC-TV) - A new comedy joins the Monday lineup on ABC7. Christina Applegate stars as a girl with an unusual problem on "Samantha Who?" Sam is a very grown up role for an actress who we've seen on screen since she was 10.
But will people recognize Applegate as a woman, or will they want to remember her as a child? "You and my mom, let me tell you. It's okay, I don't like aging either.
That's okay," jokes Applegate. "You know, I'll always have her in me, that little girl. And that's what's also good about Sam.
She's brand new, she's a little girl, looking at life for the first time and discovering things, and that's such a fresh, fun thing to play.
