It's not a sexy move signing Zach Crockett. That would have constituted going out and making a trade. But it's a solid signing.
Crockett is a good goal-line and short-yardage back that knows Jon Gruden's intricate system pretty well, making his learning curve on the terminology less severe. I might have preferred Kevan Barlow. Actually, I would have preferred the Bucs sign both backs.
