Whitland recorded their first points of the season by beating visitors Cwmllynfell 18-11. Captain Randell Williams led the way with a fine touchdown and was assisted by replacement hooker Aled Harris who also crossed. In the east the top-of-the-table clash resulted in a victory for Pontypool who comfortably beat visitors UWIC 20-0. Ben Salt and Cae Treherne ran in tries and the kicking was shared by Darren Pearce with two conversions, Stuart Lawrence with a penalty and Richard Jenkins scoring a drop goal.
