It's like the real-life story of Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper. On the TV show "The Wonder Years," Kevin (Fred Savage) was always pining for his neighbor Winnie (Danica McKellar). And while Savage was growing up in Glencoe, he had a crush on Jenny Stone.
"She was a hottie," Savage, now 31, recently told Armour Co. "She was never really interested in me. She was always part of the cool crowd, and I definitely was not.
She's always been this kind of prize." As fate would have it, their paths crossed years later when Stone happened to move to Los Angeles. "We started to hang out, then we kind of fell in love," said Savage, who directed "Daddy Day Camp" and has directed episodes of the F/X sitcom "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
" They've been married three years and have a 1-year-old boy. "I feel like I married the girl I always hoped I would." Ahhh -- isn't that cute?
