Bjork is delightfully eccentric - this we all know. This eccentricity carries across to her frequently unusual pop songs, which veer between accessible and incredibly difficult to grasp hold of. Luckily for the general public, her newest work 'Earth Intruders' is far closer to the former.

It's funky and not a little danceable, keeping your toes tapping while you try to decipher exactly what it is that Bjork's wittering on about.

With a funky little video to accompany the song and her vocal soaring pleasantly over the punkily-voiced backing singers' harmonies, Bjork's done well for herself with 'Earth Intruders'. Bjork has always pushed the boat out in regard to what we define as pop, and certainly this isn't typical of the genre.

It's a little bit indie, a little bit dance and a little bit pop, and it's an extremely positive thing that she's made the effort to show what a more mainstream tune can do for her sound.
