Nashville, TN (AHN) - LeAnn Rimes' new music video for "Nothing Better To Do," the first single off her upcoming album, can be viewed on CMT.com beginning Tuesday, May 22. The video, which will premiere on television on CMT's "Top Twenty Countdown" on May 24, is from Rimes' 10th studio album, "Family.

The video was produced by Dann Huff and co-directed by Rimes and David McClister.
Rimes co-wrote "Nothing Better To Do" with Darrell Brown and her husband, Dean Sheremet, who also choreographed the video.
According to Florida Today, Rimes said about the song: "I grew up in a small backwoods kind of town in Mississippi.
Literally, there was a shop across the street that only sold bait and bullets. And we kind of wrote the song about maybe what would have happened if I never got out. It's a part of my personality people don't usually see.
"
The video was shot at the old Tennessee State Penitentiary, which is now shut down, and includes footage of Death Row in a cell beside the electric chair.
"Family" is planned for release on August 28, which is also Rimes' 25th birthday.
Rimes said the album is intensely personal and reflects her personal and artistic growth.
"I think I just had to grow up," she said.
