LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) -- Actor Alec Baldwin's Los Angeles attorney, Vicki Greene, is reportedly still trying to figure out how his cell phone message to his daughter got released. "The whole story has not gotten out accurately," Greene said during a break at a closed-door court hearing Friday. The custody battle between Baldwin and his ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger, over their daughter, had already been going on when the voicemail tape of Baldwin yelling at 11-year-old Ireland was released to the media, The Los Angeles Times reported.
Greene said she speculations that someone close to Basinger gave the tape to TMZ.com, sparking the media frenzy that has portrayed Baldwin as a bad father. "I didn't have access to the tape.
Alec didn't have access to the tape. It had to come from someone in their camp," said Greene, who requested that Los Angeles County commissioner Maren E. Nelson investigate how the message was made public.
